Gate PR, established in 2011, is run by Sarah Flavell. Originally from the UK, Sarah has lived in The Netherlands for the last 5 years and over the last 12 years has worked in both the superyacht & marine leisure industries dealing with shipyards, management companies, owners, designers and technical integrators on both new build and refit projects. Her career has included sales & marketing and business development roles.

Prior to working in the superyacht & marine leisure industries and following her degree in Modern Languages (French & German) from the University of Exeter, Sarah worked as a translator for a software development company. It was during this time that, in addition to using her language and communication skills, Sarah became involved in event organising and marketing work. It was the combination of this experience and her own personal passion for water-sports that led her to the maritime industry. For three years Sarah was responsible for and ran a water-sports and corporate entertainment site. From here Sarah moved in to the Superyacht industry itself with a sales & marketing role at Savage Marine LTD and following her move to The Netherlands, she worked for several years as the business development manager for UK based Harris Grant Ltd.

Sarah is passionate about business and ensuring that each and every company can indeed achieve its true potential. It was this drive that led her to set up Gate PR which now proudly works with a variety of clients worldwide. Her combination of industry, technical and commercial experience together with her language and combination skills provide each of her clients with a unique and customised solution for their product or services.
